Research description:
Our research is focused on (1) elucidating performance and durability loss mechanisms and (2) designing high-performing and durable materials for next-generation hydrogen and fuel cell technologies.
Main equipment and infrastructure:
- Hydrogen fuel cell testing equipment, including a Gamry potentiostat with a 30A booster, and a Fuel Cell Technologies fuel cell test station
- Platform for catalyst-coated membrane and gas diffusion electrode fabrication
- Access to microfabrication facilities and analytical and characterization tools including SEM and GC-MS
